The Automatic Fire Suppression Tube (AFST) is a self-contained, heat-activated fire suppression device. It consists of three core components: a heat-sensitive tube made of specialized plastic, stainless steel end fittings that seal each end, and a pressurized suppression agent stored inside the tube. The specialized plastic is engineered to detect and rupture when the temperature inside the enclosure rises above the critical threshold of 110 °C. At that point, the tube ruptures at a single point and releases the entire suppression agent directly onto the source of the fire.

The Automatic Fire Suppression Tube is designed to protect relatively enclosed spaces, including but not limited to:

1. Engine compartments of boats and yachts.
2. Engine compartments of all on-road and off-road vehicles, including cars, vans, buses, mini buses, trucks, rally cars, mining machines, and construction machines.
3. Electric panels, switch boards, server panels, and control boxes.

Each unit is packed with polyfoam first and then placed into a wooden case. When required to meet customer specifications or safety requirements, goods can also be secured on a pallet for transport.
