System Overview
Heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea, FM-200) is a colorless, odorless, non-conductive, and environmentally friendly gas fire suppression agent. It features excellent electrical insulation properties, high fire suppression efficiency, and does not damage the ozone layer with relatively short atmospheric residual time. This makes it the ideal replacement for halogenated alkanes 1301 and 1211.

- Chemical products and mixtures containing oxidizers (nitrocellulose, etc.)
- Reactive metals (potassium, sodium, magnesium, titanium, zirconium, hafnium)
- Metal hydrides (potassium hydride, sodium hydride)
- Self-decomposing chemical substances (hydrogen peroxide, hydrazine)

System Classification
Independent Unit System
A fire extinguishing system where one group of fire extinguishing agent storage devices protects a single protected area. Suitable for independent single protection areas with special requirements.
Combined Distribution System
A system where one group of fire extinguishing agent storage devices protects multiple protected areas. Suitable for areas where protected zones are not far apart and for comprehensive project protection. Fire extinguishing agent quantity is calculated based on the largest protected area, with maximum protection zones not exceeding 8.
System Maintenance & Service
Post-Maintenance Procedures
After system use, the following components must be reset:
- Reset fire extinguishing controller
- Reset pressure signal transmitter piston
- Reset selector valve manual start device
- Reset electromagnetic actuator
- Replace driving valve sealing diaphragm
- Recharge nitrogen gas in driving bottle group
- Refill fire extinguishing agent per design requirements
- Ensure all pipe, valve, and connection seals are properly installed
After-Sales Service: Manufacturer will arrive onsite within 24 hours of notification and return maintenance equipment within 72 hours.
Maintenance Procedures
- Users should be familiar with system structure, working principles, performance, and operation procedures
- Understand equipment types, quantities, locations, and operation status in each fire protection zone
- Know emergency operation procedures for system activation
- Understand system recovery procedures after fire extinguishing
- Evacuate personnel before fire suppression; maintain required soaking time before ventilation
- Conduct monthly appearance inspections for equipment condition and operation
- Perform annual inspections including storage pressure checks and electrical testing
- Conduct comprehensive system inspection every five years including weighing checks and pipeline testing
- Maintain detailed technical documentation of system usage and maintenance
Safety Requirements
- Storage cylinder room temperature: -10℃ to 50℃, dry and ventilated
- Storage cylinders must avoid direct sunlight
- No storage of flammable, explosive, or corrosive substances in cylinder room
- Protect from vibration and impact
- Cylinder groups should be located in dedicated, accessible rooms away from fire hazards
