The system operates automatically using a temperature-sensitive actuation mechanism. A thermal sensor continuously monitors the protected area; when a preset temperature threshold is reached, the device activates and discharges the extinguishing agent without requiring manual intervention. When the ambient temperature reaches the rated activation point (typically 68°C), the liquid inside the thermal sensing glass bulb expands and causes the bulb to burst. This action releases the pressurization mechanism, allowing the FM200 extinguishing agent to be discharged from the storage vessel directly into the protected area.
